Welcome to the New Church of Boulder Valley!
There are many churches in this world. With so many choices it can a bit overwhelming to find a church that fits.
Here are a few ideas about The New Church so you can see if it might be a good fit for you.
First, we are not what might be called a traditional Christian church. We do follow the Lord Jesus Christ--but we don’t think you are going to hell if you don’t.
Second, we believe the Bible is not supposed to be understood literally. It was written and given to us because it contains a deeper “spiritual sense” that is really about our inner or spiritual life.
And third, God never judges anyone. We judge ourselves by the choices we make every day in freedom. We are creating a heaven or hell within us right now by what we love and pursue in our lives. We simply continue living after death in the way we have chosen to live here, but more completely.

Our worship services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The service has two main sections. The first is for all ages with a special emphasis given to the children. For the second, the children and teens go to their age appropriate staffed programs to explore the day’s lesson some more through discussion and a project, and the adults stay in the service for a sermon that digs more deeply into the story to discover the spiritual meaning and application to daily life.
We worship in the beautiful, simple setting of the church sanctuary. There is time for reflection and contemplation as well as participation in music, prayer and a time to ask questions or offer comments.
After worship we gather in the church hall to share fellowship and enjoy refreshments. Everyone is invited to join this gathering.
