The classes and programs listed here are the ones that reoccur at a set time, but there's a whole lot more going on here. To see a full list of our upcoming events, or to find out exactly when things are scheduled, take a look at our events page.

Classes

These classes are for everyone who wants to explore God's Word and talk about what it means to live according to its teachings.

Book Study and Discussion Group

When: every Tuesday  from 1:00 - 2:00 pm

Where: On Zoom

This is a discussion-based exploration of one of the books written by Emanuel Swedenborg. The format is very simple: we open with a short prayer, then check in on how people are doing, and then discuss the reading. All questions and comments are welcome. This is a great opportunity to explore the teachings in a safe and open environment. Please email the pastor if you would like to join in ([email protected]). We are currently discussion True Christianity https://swedenborg.com/product/true-christianity-1-nce/

Women's Book Study

When: On the first and third Mondays of the month from 7:30 - 9:00 pm

Where: Cecy Umberger's home

Right now we are discussing Bryan Stevenson's book Just Mercy. You are more than welcome to join this useful time of sharing and discussion. Please contact the pastor for more details on location: [email protected]

Programs and Events

These are just a few of our connection-and-community oriented offerings.

Potluck Lunch

When: once a month on a Sunday immediately after church

Where: the Fellowship Hall

Good food is one of the best tools for building happy communities. Potlucks are a fun social event for the whole family; everyone simply heads down to the Fellowship hall after worship, and enjoy a meal together. This is a fun and good way to get to know more people in the church community.
