What Would Love Do?

A New Spiritual Growth Campaign begins October 5th: What Would Love Do? (based on Matthew 25 – “I was hungry and you gave me food, thirsty and you gave me drink….”)

– What is a Spiritual Growth Campaign (SGC)? A SGC or “Journey Program” is a relevant, step-by-step, Bible-based programs designed to assist you in growing spiritually and applying the Lord’s teachings to your everyday life. Each program provides a clear approach for reading, discussing and experiencing spiritual transformation. Programs generally run for seven weeks and provide an opportunity to integrate any or all of 3 main components: daily readings; small group participation; and weekly worship.

– If you want to participate in a small group either sign yourself up at church or send an email to info@bouldernewchurch.org.

We know love is important. It is easy to see that we are to take care of those who suffer. We understand to treat each other with kindness and respect. Few would deny that more love circulating in this world is better than less. But how we show this love is not always clear. Certainly there are many people around us who have needs, but how do we know where to put our efforts? This seven week program explores the biblical parable of Matthew 25, wherein Jesus speaks of the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick and the imprisoned. Jesus says that whenever we help others in these conditions, we help God. Join us as we practice serving the neighbor on both a physical and spiritual level in these 6 ways.

– Community Service element: if you have ideas about how to align some community service projects with the subject matter of the campaign please bring your ideas forward.

Come worship with us this Sunday!
