Seven Habits For Spiritual Living, Part 5: Fighting Our Battles

The problem with developing good habits is that at some point we will be challenged as to how strong our resolve is and how serious we are about changing our lives for the better. These challenges are called temptations or crises of the spirit, and they are rough.

Thankfully the Lord equips us with the weapons we need to fight these spiritual battles and to get to a stronger and more peaceful place as a result. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me… Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23)
