Slow Down And Get A New Perspective: a.k.a. “Be still and know that I am God.” – God (Psalm 46:10)

We can be so busy. So busy doing things, moving from one thing to the next or viewing one news item or social media post to another that we can end up missing out on what is most important and most enriching – connection. Growth Through Discomfort: a.k.a Feel and Deal

We don’t like to be uncomfortable or to experience pain. Makes sense. But we may be stunting our ability to grow spiritually if we avoid all discomfort. Our discomfort is often a window into something we need to work through. If we mask it or avoid it we won’t ever deal with it. If we learn how to feel and deal we can make forward progress.

We will talk about how to feel and deal this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We hope you can join us.

Spirituality For A Busy Life

We may have the impression that to be a spiritual person we need to devote a serious amount of time and effort toward and take deep dives into spiritual practices for it to make any difference. Since we don’t have time for all that we may just give up – not bothering to do much of anything. When we are constantly on the go and run busy lives what are things that we can do to fit in little moments to connect and stay spiritually focussed amidst it all? This week we will tease out from what might be called a full blown spiritual practice some things that we can do quickly and on the move to create hope, happiness and connection.

See you Sunday at 10:30 a.m. or watch the livestream on our Facebook page (either live or whenever you can get to it – it will be there).
