Are We Being Led And Guided or Are We On Our Own?

One of our very human struggles arises around whether we are being led and supported in a path to somewhere good and peaceful or whether we are floundering on our own with no support. When bad things happen or if we are struggling it is easy for us to feel like we are alone and abandoned. When things are going well for us it is easier for us to believe that we are being led.

This Sunday we will talk a little about God’s system of guidance called the Divine Providence. There are certain things about it that are so important to know and that help to make sense of why things happen the way they do. We hope to see you Sunday at 10:30 a.m. or feel free to watch live on our Facebook page:

Why Is There So Much Warfare In The Bible?

As the Children of Israel entered the Promised Land they were commanded to
destroy the city of Jericho. They do it by circling the city for six days blowing their trumpets. On the seventh day they circle it seven times blowing their trumpets. The seventh time around they make a great shout and the walls come tumbling down. Then they are commanded to completely destroy everyone and everything in the city.

What does God want us to learn by making stories like this part of the Divine message in the Word?

We will talk about that on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We hope you can join us!
