You’ve Been Forgiven: And Now What?

Jesus said to someone who had blatantly broken one of the commandments, “Your sins are forgiven you.” This story is given to demonstrate to us how we receive forgiveness when we make mistakes and commit trespasses. The question is, what does it mean to be forgiven and what do we do to make it mean something real in our own lives. There is more to this story that helps shed light.

We hope to see you Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the service.

How Do I Make Wise Choices?

We are faced with a myriad of choices in our lives. Some of those choices have huge repercussions. How do we enter into our decision making with the wisdom we need to make good choices? Join us this Sunday as we dig into this subject. Maybe we will leave a little wiser.

We will also be celebrating mothers on this Mother’s Day. Thank you for the love and wisdom you bring to our lives and the lives of our children!

Or Put Another Way, “Why Am I So Stupid Sometimes?”

Good people are capable of doing bad things. This usually happens when we lose touch with our spiritual work or get complacent about it, do not keep in touch with God through prayer and reading the Word, and feel a desire for something we know is wrong but don’t battle against it. We can become blind to what is good and right when we want something.  This Sunday we will look at why we make these kinds of mistakes and what can be done to avoid them.
