How Difficulties Lead To Happiness

One of the more odd statements that Jesus makes is at the end of the Beatitudes or blessings from the Sermon on the Mount. Here’s part of it: “Blessed are those who are persecuted… when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely…”
Why does this lead to us being blessed or happy?
This Sunday we will talk about the final blessing and what it is about being challenged that leads to deep happiness.
See you Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

You Are Loved And Cared For

We all want to know that we are loved and that someone is looking out for us, thinking of us, and carrying us in their heart. We hope this for the people we love too. We all want to know that there is hope for us–hope that we can succeed in our quest to become spiritually minded people. And that we can be rescued from the dangers we encounter when selfishness and other negative desires rise up and get a grip on us.
This Sunday we will talk about the Lord as our Shepherd and how the Lord does the wonderful work of guiding, leading and protecting us and just how much we are loved.
Join us for worship Sunday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m.
