Will I See My Loved Ones Again After Death?

Many, if not all of us, have experienced the loss of a loved one. This Sunday at church will be our third annual remembrance service – a service dedicated to honoring our loved ones on the other side. You are invited to bring a photo of your loved one(s) to put up on a board and write a few words about them or just their name. Or you can bring a framed picture or something that reminds you of a loved one to set on the table. There will be several different types of opportunities to honor them. There will be special music, readings and a time to receive blessings.
It is a family service so all are most welcome- feel free to invite friends who might benefit from a process like this. Sunday 10:30 a.m.

Pass It On

Swedenborg writes: “What is the use of knowing something, unless what is known to one person is also made known to others.” What do you think we ought to do about that?
Let’s talk about it Sunday at 10:30 a.m. – please join us for worship.
We also wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all!

It’s Simple: Love Each Other

Sunday, May 5th: One of the stories of the Lord appearing to His disciples after his resurrection involves the Lord making breakfast for them and then asking Peter three times if he loves Him. Each time Peter responds in the affirmative, and each time the Lord then asks him to feed or tend His lambs/sheep. It is rather clear, though in allegory, that the Lord is asking that we take care of each other. No really, care for one another. That’s right, its all about loving one another.
You are warmly welcome to worship in community with us Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
